Logline: The film is based on the life and work of director Chris Marker. A documentary essay about memory, history, nostalgia and how images of the past shape our future. The essence of the archive as the Fundament of our collective memory itself is being questioned.

Logline: Through the eyes of Will and Lode, WILL tells a dark page in the history of Antwerp: how during the Second World War auxiliary policemen and ordinary people helped the Nazis with the deportation of the Jewish population. But also how the resistance and civilians tried to rescue those same Jews.

Through long-term observations Marc Schmidt investigates the necessity and possibilities of prevention. Which behavior do we consider normal and which abnormal? What does a world look like in which our ideal self is the norm?
