Three co-productions with Ukrainian filmmakers receive grant
In 2022, 2023 and 2024, the Dutch government opened a support fund for artists who had fled Russian aggression and were residing in the Netherlands. Following this, in September 2025 the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science made additional funds available. With this support, Ukrainian directors and screenwriters are given greater opportunity to continue making films and to make their voices heard, in collaboration with Dutch partners.
