500.000 euro Europese steun voor 3 Nederlandse coproducties

Een majoritaire en twee minoritaire Nederlandse bioscoopfilms ontvangen een bijdrage in de productiekosten van Eurimages. De Nederlandse speelfilm Kapsalon Romy ontvangt € 200.000, de minoritaire Nederlandse coproducties Sisters en Outside respectievelijk € 180.000 en € 120.000. Dat is tijdens de laatste vergadering van het coproductiefonds Eurimages in Skopje besloten.

Kapsalon Romy (regie: Mischa Kamp, scenario: Tamara Bos) ontvangt € 200.000 van Eurimages. De Nederlandse producent is Bosbros (Burny Bos), in coproductie met Leitwolf TV- und Filmproduktion (Duitsland)

De Nederlands minoritaire coproductie Sisters (regie en scenario: Emin Alper) ontvangt een bijdrage van Eurimages van € 180.000 euro. De film is een coproductie met Turkije, Duitsland en Griekenland. De Nederlandse producent is Circe Films (Stienette Bosklopper en Lisette Kelder), in coproductie met Liman Film (Turkije), Komplizen Film (Duitsland) en Horsefly Productions (Griekenland).

De Nederlands minoritaire coproductie Outside (regie: Michal Hogenauer, script: Jakub Felcman en Michal Hogenauer) ontvangt een bijdrage van € 120.000. De film is een coproductie met Tsjechië en Letland. De Nederlandse co-producent is Circe Films (Stienette Bosklopper en LIsette Kelder), in coproductie met Negativ Film Productions (Tsjechië) en Tasse Film (Letland).

Alle geselecteerde producties ontvingen eerder al een bijdrage in de productiekosten van het Nederlands Filmfonds. Eurimages, het coproductiefonds van de Raad van Europa, werd in 1988 opgericht en bestaat uit 38 lidstaten. Het zet zich in voor coproductie, distributie en vertoning van de Europese film. Het Nederlands Filmfonds vertegenwoordigt Nederland in Eurimages. Eerder dit jaar ontvingen twee Nederlandse majoritaire producties, Jade en The Beast In The Jungle en vier minoritaire coproducties, The Miracle Of The Sargossa Sea, Stupid Young Heart, de lange animatiefilm Bunuel In The Labyrinth Of The Turtles en de documentaire Sakawa al Europese realiseringssteun van Eurimages.
