So it begins – once again. Short films, feature films, debut works: from today (and until late spring), you can submit your film for the 79ᵗʰ edition of the Locarno Film Festival, taking place from August 5 to 15, 2026. We can’t wait to see your work!
WHEN DO I APPLY AND WHAT DOES IT COST?
These are the deadlines – all at 2pm CET – that you should keep in mind for 2026 if you want your film to show at the Locarno Film Festival:

- Early: 19 Feb 2026 → 100 CHF
