
Wander to Wonder wins BAFTA award
Wander to Wonder has won the BAFTA for the best animated short. Director Nina Gantz received the prize during the 78th edition of the British awards ceremony.
The film by Nina Gantz, after winning the Grand Jury Prize at the Animation Is Film Festival, being named Best British Short Film at BIFA, and clinching the Annie Award for Best Short Subject, has recently been nominated for an Oscar® in the Animated Short Film category.
Wander to Wonder is produced by Circe Films (Stienette Bosklopper) and Kaap Holland Film (Maarten Swart). It is about three dolls who star in a 1980s children’s television series but are left alone in the studio when the show’s creator dies.
