Quo Vadis, Aida?, Another Round and The Mole Agent nominated for Oscars 2021

We received some great news yesterday: minority co-productions Quo Vadis, Aïda?, Another Round and The Mole Agent have been nominated for the Oscars 2021!

Just last week we wrote about the BAFTA nominations for Quo Vadis, Aïda? by Jasmila Žbanić and Another Round by Thomas Vinterberg; now we can add The Mole Agent to these two titles for a nomination for this years Oscars.

Quo Vadis, Aïda and Another Round are both nominated for Best International Feature Film. Director Thomas Vinterberg (Another Round) is nominated for Best Director. The Mole Agent received a nomination for Best Documentary Feature.

The Mole Agent had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2020 and screened at International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (2020) and was nominated for Best Documentary at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. The film is written and directed by Maite Alberdi, produced by Micromundo Producciones (CL), and co-produced by Volya Films (NL), Pictures (US), Mandra Films (FR), Sutor Kolonko (DE). Like Quo Vadis, Aïda? and Another Round, The Mole Agent also received support from the Netherlands Film Funds.
