Isabel Lamberti's debut feature drama, Last Days of Spring (La última primavera) has been selected for Cannes ACID 2020. This Spanish-language film is produced by IJswater Films and co-produced by Tourmalet Films (ES). Her short documentary Father (2019) had its world premiere in the Pardi di Domani competition of Locarno. Her previous films I'll Fly Higher (Volando Voy) (2015) and Amor (2017) screened at numerous international film festivals and received awards from the San Sebastian Film Festival, amongst others.
Mees Peijnenburg, developed his first feature Paradise Drifters at theCannes Film Festival's Cinéfondation residency which premiered successfully both at IFFR and in the Generation section at the Berlinale in 2020. The film is produced by Pupkin in co-production with VPRO. His short films, A Hole in My Heart (2015) and his graduation film Even Cowboys Get to Cry (2013) were selected for the Generation 14plus competition.
The live action short Marlon Brando, directed by Vincent Tilanus and produced by Room for Film is selected for the prestigious Semaine de la Critique (Critics Week) section 2020. Vincent Tilanus graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2018 with his film Gold Leaf which won the Prix Amnesty International France at the Poitiers Film Festival.
