Netherlands Film Production Incentive invests € 3.7 million in 10 new productions and 3 high-end TV-series
These contributions will generate more than € 15.5 million in production expenses in the Netherlands across the entire spectrum of Dutch film professionals and film companies.
In this round a contribution was made a.o. to the projects Get Over Here And Kiss Me by Sabine Lubbe Bakker and Niels van Koevorden, and the animated feature film Coppelia, an international coproduction between Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. Also a single episode of Killing Eve II received a cash rebate. The second installment of this popular TV-series is produced by Sid Gentle Films (UK) in co-production with Topkapi TV (NL) for BBC America.
Upcoming application rounds 2018 and 2019
The next application round for Netherlands Film Production Incentive for both film productions and high-end TV series is November 5, 2018. In 2019 the first deadline is scheduled for February 5. The Netherlands Film Production Incentive offers a cash rebate up to 35% on the qualifying production costs that are demonstrably spent in the Netherlands.
