Netherlands Film Production Incentive invests € 2.6 million in 5 high-end TV-series

In the second round of the pilot for high-end TV-series, 5 projects have been granted a total € 2.6 million in cash rebates through the Netherlands Film Production Incentive Scheme. The contributions are granted to 3 drama and 2 documentary series.

The backed projects include 2 international co-productions: Heirs Of The Night (drama) by producer Lemming Film (The Netherlands), in co-production with Maze Pictures (Germany) and Maipo Film (Norway) and The Loot by producer Hazazah Pictures (The Netherlands), in co-production with Ciné Cri de Coeur (Belgium).

The existing Production Incentive scheme in the Netherlands was modified in October 2017 to include a pilot for high-end TV-series. A total of 16 TV-series have been granted cash rebate of 30%, including 11 international co-productions for a total of € 9,6 million.
