€ 925,000 in European support for 2 Dutch co-productions

Two minority Dutch features have been granted production support in the latest round of Eurimages funding: Quo Vadis Aida? and DRUK/The Alcoholproject. The projects are granted € 925,000 in total.

Quo Vadis Aida?, the latest feature film by Jasmila Žbanić is granted €455,000 by Eurimages. The film is produced by Deblokada (BA) in coproduction with Coop99 (AT), Indie Production (FR), Razor Film (DE), Tordenfilm (NO), Ziva Productions (HR) and Dutch coproducer N279 Entertainment (NL)

The Danish/Swedish/Dutch coproduction DRUK/The Alcoholproject by Thomas Vinterberg (script: Thomas Vnterberg, Tobias Lindholm) is granted €470,000. The film is produced by Zentropa, Dutch Topkapi Films is coproducing.

Eurimages, the co-production fund of the Council of Europe, was founded in 1989 and consists of 38 member states, plus Canada as an associate member. The fund is committed to the co-production, distribution and exhibition of European cinema. The Council meets four times a year, The Netherlands is represented at Eurimages by the Netherlands Film Fund.
