€ 475,000 in European support for 2 Dutch co-productions

Two minority Dutch features have been granted production support in the latest round of Eurimages funding: My Dad is a Sausage and animated feature Nayola. The projects are granted € 475,000 in total.

My Dad is a Sausage, the latest feature film Anouk Fortunier is granted €230,000 by Eurimages. The film is produced by A Private View (BE)/Man’s Films Productions (BE), in coproduction with Leitwolf Filmproduktion (DE) and Dutch coproducer The Film Kitchen.

The Portugese/Belgian/French Dutch animated feature Nayola by José Miguel Ruivo Ribeiro is granted €245,000. The film is produced by Filmes Da Praca (PT). S.O.I.L. Productions (BE), JPL Films (FR) and Dutch Il Luster are coproducing.

Eurimages, the co-production fund of the Council of Europe, was founded in 1989 and consists of 38 member states, plus Canada as an associate member. The fund is committed to the co-production, distribution and exhibition of European cinema. The Council meets four times a year, The Netherlands is represented at Eurimages by the Netherlands Film Fund.
