
€ 1,305,000 in European support for 5 Dutch co-productions
10 Songs For Charity (director: Karin Junger, script: Karin Junger, Brigit Hillenius) is granted € 375,000. Dutch producer is De Productie (Annemiek van Gorp, René Goossens) in co-production with Minds Meet (Belgium).
Bloody Marie (director: Guido van Driel, script: Guido van Driel en Lennert Hillege) is granted € 280,000 by Eurimages. Dutch producer is Family Affair Films (Floor Onrust) in co-production with Bulletproof Cupid (Belgium).
Dutch minority coproduction Pari (director and script: Siamak Etemadi) is granted € 170,000 euro. Dutch producer is Topkapi, in co-production with Heretic Production (Greece), Le Bureau Films (France) en Chouchkov Brothers (Bulgaria).
Dutch minority coproduction Donbass (director and script: Sergei Loznitsa) is granted € 330,000. Dutch producer is Graniet Film in co-production with MA.JA.DE. Fiction (Germany), JBA Production (France) en Arthouse Traffic (Ukraine).
Also, Dutch minority coproduction Floating (director: Anke Blondé, script Jean-Claude van Rijckeghem) is granted € 150,000 euro. Dutch producer is Viking Film, in coproduction with A private view and Man’s Films (Belgium).
Eurimages, the co-production fund of the Council of Europe, was founded in 1988 and consists of 38 Member states. The fund is committed to the co-production, distribution and exhibition of European cinema. The Council meets four times a year, The Netherlands is represented at Eurimages by the Netherlands Film Fund.
Earlier this year, Eurimages support was granted to nine Dutch co-produced projects; three Dutch majority features: Coupe Confused, Jade and The Beast In The Jungle and six minority coproductions: Sisters, Outside, The Miracle Of The Sargossa Sea, Stupid Young Heart, the long animation Bunuel In The Labyrinth Of The Turtles and the documentary Sakawa.
