Cultural mission to Indonesia
This week the Film Fund is participating in the Dutch cultural mission to Indonesia led by State Secretary Gunay Uslu. Director Bero Beyer is in Jakarta speaking with key Indonesian ministries and representatives from the film sector.
Today, the Film Fund attended the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of Indonesia. This agreement confirms the desire for closer cooperation between Indonesia and the Netherlands regarding film, design and photography. This connects well with interest from both the Indonesian and Dutch film sectors to work together more intensively and efficiently. The Film Fund, therefore, plans to further shape the film sub-sector from the agreement in the coming period.
