1916. Pierre, a diligent soldier, meets the flamboyant Francis in the rear-line camps during World War I. To pass the time and boost morale, Francis wants to organize a revue for the soldiers. Together, they seem to find a way to escape the cycle of violence, even if only for a brief moment.
