€ 295.000 in European support for two Dutch co-productions

Two minority Dutch features have been granted production support in the latest round of Eurimages funding. Feature film The Miracle Of The Sargossa Sea and documentary Sakawa are granted € 295.000 in total.

The Miracle of The Sargossa Sea, a feature film by Syllas Tzoumerkas, a co-production with Greece (Homemade Films), Germany (Unafilm), Sweden (Gota Film) and The Netherlands (PRPL Film) receieves € 220.000.

Sakawa
, a documentary by Ben Asamoah. A coproduction with Belgium (IntiFilms) and The Netherlands (Pieter van Huystee Film & TV) receives € 75.000.

Eurimages, the co-production fund of the Council of Europe, was founded in 1988 and consists of 37 Member states. The fund is committed to the co-production, distribution and exhibition of European cinema. The Council meets four times a year, The Netherlands is represented at Eurimages by the Netherlands Film Fund.
