Minority co-production support

Production support minority Dutch co-productions for feature length (animation) film and documentary, short animation and research & experiment (a.o. immersive and interactive productions).

The Netherlands Film Fund supports co-productions with a strong artistic view, an international festival and distribution appeal and a substantial creative and technical contribution from the Netherlands. European-based production companies and co-productions with countries with a co-production agreement with the Netherlands will be given priority.

In addition projects from directors with a proven international track record and/or whose films have been released in multiple countries and the Netherlands will be given priority; as well as projects with a demonstrable/good chance of reciprocity. Projects that are theatrically released in the country of origin, and also have a guaranteed theatrical release in the Netherlands, will also be given priority.
