Open Call: Council of Europe Series Co-Production Support

Council of Europe, home of Eurimages, announces third call for Series Co-Productions Support.

Following two successful rounds with 16 series projects selected since its inception, the Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions is launching its 2025 Call for Series Co-Productions Support. The Council of Europe, home of Eurimages, initiated the three-year Pilot Programme for Series Co-Productions with the goal of supporting high-quality series structured as international co-productions. This initiative aims to bolster independent producers and foster new collaborations.

For the 2025 call for projects, the additional support of the Bulgarian National Film Centre, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ministry of Culture of Czechia, the National Film Centre of Latvia, the Norwegian Film Institute, and the Polish Film Institute expands the Programme’s reach to 21 member States, supported by 22 ministries and national agencies.

The Council of Europe Series Co-Productions Support offers final-stage funding for series co-productions, with a top-up grant of either €250,000 or €500,000. This grant is intended for co-productions of audiovisual works in the form of series between independent producers from the participating countries and those in other Eurimages member states, encouraging close collaboration with broadcasters and/or streaming services.

The call is currently open for producers from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia and Spain.

This year's submission deadline is set for 15 April 2025, 17:00 CET.

Further details on support programmes for series co-production beyond 2025 will be announced in the second half of the year.
